SACRED FAMILY HOME IN BONDA, KENYA  

– 3 in 1 PROJECT - 

 

Love will surely touch your heart and your deepest feelings when you are in front of newborns suffering from AIDS, or unwanted babies that are thrown away in some remote area. Just feeling sorry for these innocent human beings is not enough, and if one really loves, she or he will do whatever possible to give them a helping hand.

About one year ago, one of our dreams came true.  We started a very ambitious project. On the forth day of October 2008, Fr. Gorg Grima blessed the land that we managed to buy in the city of Bondo , in Kenya . He celebrated mass in the area for the first time. On the mentioned land, we are planning to build three homes. All the complex will be named: “SACRED FAMILY HOME”, where children living in a very desperate state will be welcomed.

One of the homes will cater for orphans who are suffering from AIDS, another will welcome children that are deaf and also suffering from speech disorders, and the third will host blind children.

Next to the mentioned three homes, we will also construct a convent and a chapel.

Just as the Hold Mother and Saint Joseph took care of Jesus, in their home in Nazareth , we are searching generous souls that, like Mary and Joseph, help their beloved Jesus in the poor and the sick.

Till this very day, in Kenya , a number of newborns are thrown away, abandoned in hospitals and also in remote areas, suffering all sorts of hardships.

Two almost blind albino boys, born from dark skinned parents.  In certain areas, such newborns are frequently abandoned, sometimes even killed, but at our home they are welcomed.

We want that the “SACRED FAMILY HOME” will be the place where such children manage to find love and shelter, just as Jesus found in the holy family.
